Eric C. Powell is the founder and managing attorney of Powell Legal, a modern law firm serving businesses across Ohio and Georgia. With more than 20 years of legal and corporate experience, Eric advises clients in corporate and business law, commercial real estate, and fractional general counsel services.

Before founding Powell Legal, Eric practiced in private firms representing small and mid-sized companies in commercial real estate and business matters, and later served as corporate counsel for FedEx, where he managed complex contracts, supported enterprise operations, and helped business leaders navigate strategic and regulatory issues. His approach combines legal precision with practical business insight, helping clients make informed decisions and plan for sustainable growth.

Eric holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation and is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Georgia. He is known for his clear communication style, proactive counsel, and commitment to helping business owners protect their vision and move forward with confidence.

Outside his legal practice, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and time outdoors.
